I don't know about where you live, but winter has come early here! Since stitching is such a slow craft (and I waited far too long last year!!) today I'm sharing my DIY ornaments with you.
If you'd like to purchase the full DIY kit from me, you can do so here. You can only order until November 26th so I have time to get them out to you! Thanks so much for your support - it truly means the world to me!
3 - 3" hoops
3 - 4.5" fabric squares
3 - bows
3 - felt circles cut to size
1 - needle
use my patterns or make your own!
once you've got your hoop cinched at the back, you can use glue to secure the felt to the back of the hoop. I would recommend using liquid glue or hot glue. Be sure to place the hoop onto the felt with the glue, as opposed to placing the felt onto the hoop - this way the glue won't be able to drip down onto the front of your design as it dries.
I made a bow with a loop by tying a knot around a pen and tying a bow around that. You can then take off the screw from your hoop and slip the back of the bow between the metal brackets as you screw it back in.
There you go! Quick, elegant, handmade ornaments that you can feel proud to hang on your tree! If you have any questions I'm happy to help - and don't forget you can order the FULL DIY KIT until November 26.
